bourke’s welcomes kolkata social to kick-off the first kitchen takeover of the year.

Blending tradition with Sydney’s vibrant food culture, Kolkata Social offers a fresh take on Bengali cuisine. Led by Kolkata-born chef Ahana Dutt, whose experience spans top Sydney kitchens like Firedoor and Raja, guests can expect a menu that pays tribute to her roots, celebrating local produce and time-honoured techniques with special bourke’s cocktails curated for the occasion.

Some might say Sunday Roast is an English tradition, and they probably wouldn’t be wrong, but much like cricket, it’s something that has become a bona fide Australian tradition, and also like cricket, the Aussie’s are now way better at it. 

$220pp Traditional Roast Plate:
Roasted Chook (aka chicken), Deep Fried Chicken Fat Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Seared Shallots, Yorkshire Pudding with a Mint Pea Salad, Homemade Red Wine Chicken Gravy.

$180pp vegetarian roast plate (limited qty):
Roasted Portobello Mushroom, Cauliflower, Tomato, Mashed Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Seared Shallots, Yorkshire Pudding with a Mint Pea Salad, homemade White Wine Vegetarian Gravy.
